WYM weCONNECT and Namayingo

If you didn't have time to watch the presentation link from the last blog, you are probably unaware that we have added a new division to Wholly Yours Ministries, called WYM weCONNECT. Please take the time and look at the presentation if you haven't done so already.

WYM weCONNECT will be located both in the United States and foreign countries but will be organized a bit differently in each locality. In the United States, it will be a web-based resource center as well as a local "brick-and-mortar" Resource Center, located in the Glade Spring or Meadowview area of Virginia. The vision of WYM weCONNECT is to connect people with various resources readily available to them to empower them to live productive, fulfilled lives. In foreign countries, WYM weCONNECT will be located in individual churches that we have planted or are associated with.

We are praying for someone to donate a building for us to use to house the Resource Center and Thrift Store. The proceeds from the Thrift Store will be used to fund WYM programs in the United States and foreign countries. Please pray in agreement with us regarding getting this building. We also need help developing our website, wym-weconnect.com which is currently under construction.

Even though we do not have a building yet, we have taken the first step, thanks to David Berg and Walberg Construction, who is paying the rent on a forty-foot container for us to store our donated items.

We just finished a very successful yard sale to raise funds and will continue to hold yard sales and sell donated items through FB Marketplace, and other avenues, until a building space is donated to us. With the proceeds of the yard sale, we were able to start our nutritional food program in Ogalo Kenya and also move forward on our egg production sustainability program in Budalang'i Kenya. Thanks to all those who donated and helped with our yard sale. A special thanks to our local church of which we're members, the Church of New Beginnings, for allowing us to use their facility and for their youth who held a hot dog lunch to help raise funds.

Even if you don't have money to donate to help us move forward with our programs, you can help us by donating items we can sell to raise funds. We can now continually take donations since we have a storage container. We are a 501c3 non-profit so all donations are tax deductible per IRS guidelines.

Another exciting happening is, we have planted a church in Namayingo Uganda. Pastor Kalvon Onyango is the Pastor and also the Out Reach and Logistics Coordinator for Wholly Yours Ministries - Africa.

We are already making progress on establishing the Namayingo church and have paid the annual rent on a plot of land on which we will build a temporary church building. To build the 20' X 40' structure we need 92 eucalyptus poles, 82 iron sheets, 10 ridges and a various assortment of nails. We also need microphones, an amplifier, a mixer and a keyboard. We were blessed to be able to buy twenty chairs already. There are currently eighteen adults attending the church and it is growing each week.

A friend Pastor Kalvons allowed them to temporarily meet in a house which is under construction, but they've now been given a couple weeks notice to vacate so the construction may continue. We would really appreciate your prayers and any financial help you can give us to help build and equip this new church.

Additionally, through your generous giving, we were able to buy Pastor Kalvon a nice bike to help him more easily travel from place to place as he works to grow the church. This may seem like a small thing to many, but is a huge blessing to him, and you all made this happen!

There are a lot of various things the Lord is doing, and I will be sharing those in upcoming blog posts.

God bless each one of you for your prayers and financial help. Together we can achieve much for the kingdom of God on earth. You can give through our website, wholly-yours.com, through our PayPal account (whollyoursministries@gmail.com), through our CashApp account ($WYM59), or through the mail to Wholly Yours Ministries 483 Oak Hill St. NE, Abingdon, Va. 24210. You can also give through direct deposit into our WYM bank account and other ways that suits you best. Just let us know your preference and we will accommodate.
