Let's all welcome Ocie Lynn Fullen into her new position as Ministry Coordinator for Wholly Yours Ministries - North America. We are so excited to have her as part of our WYM family as we expand our ministry locally, right here in the United States. We've always been international in scope, but, up to this point, have concentrated our efforts in Kenya and Uganda on the African continent. Welcome aboard, Lynn!!
Lynn, first and foremost, is a dedicated Christian who loves Jesus above all else. She not only has a deep love for Jesus, but she has a deep love for others as well. Her whole life has been about serving others. She has served those in need for many years in her career as a social services specialist, has raised four children (now all adults), and cares for her younger brother, Johnny (who is disabled), and has done so since his mother passed in 2003. Lynn also serves on the evangelism and worship teams at Church of New Beginnings, Glade Spring, Virgina, where she has been a member for eighteen years.
In this volunteer position, she will be instrumental in helping to establish God's vision for
WYM's local ministry, which we anticipate initially being a Thrift Store and a Community Outreach Center. Please pray with us as we move forward in this endeavor. The vision we have is a big vision, but we serve a God of "big visions".
I am leaving for Kenya and Uganda on September 14th and returning on October 18th. In my absence I will be available by email or FB Messenger. You can also contact Lynn in my absence, and she will relay any messages to me or accept donations on the behalf of the ministry.
Please pray for many souls to be won to Christ during my trip and for safe travels for me and the entire WYM ministry team there on the ground.
