I am really excited to introduce you to the pastor of "our" new church plant in the Katekwan shopping center, Pastor James Okiipi. "Our" church plant, being Wholly Yours Ministries in conjunction with Shalom Resurrection Life Ministries - Uganda, under the direction of Rev. Robert Opolot. Please keep Pastor James and his family in your prayers as he takes the helm of this new church, under the leadership of Rev. Robert.
Rev. Robert wrote a brief introduction below so you can get to know a little bit about Pastor James. Also, I'm happy to report that Wholly Yours Ministries was able to repair his leaking roof and also provided him with a brand new bicycle so he won't have to walk back and forth to church. His roof leaked so badly that the family couldn't sleep it in when it rained. Thanks to all that give to our ministry, you've done a great work! Love in Action!!
The thing I notice most about Pastor James, as you can see in the photo below, is his smile......such a wonderful smile that shines forth the peace he has inside. Indeed this man must know Jesus! He also has a beautiful family.

Pr James Okiipi, a resident of Arapai village, Koena Sub County in Bukedea district, aged 32 years and married to his lovely wife Christine Amuge, aged 23 years and blessed with 3 children 1. Ruth Amulen, 2. Rose Apio and 3. Mary Adong. James is a born again Christian received Jesus in 2019. He completed a six months discipleship course and graduated with a discipleship certificate of completion Shalom Resurrection Life Ministries-Uganda Kakoro-Tekwana church. James is Associate pastor at Shalom Resurrection Life Koena church. When James accepted Jesus, his parents denied him to get a share of their property because of Jesus. All his parents died. James owns a small plot measuring a quarter and acre where he built his grass thatched hut and lives in with all his three children and visitors whenever they come to visit him. Pr James will be the pastor of Shalom Resurrection Life Church Katekwan shopping center. Pastor James' house is 5 kilometers away to Katekwan church. Pr James is a subsistence farmer and works at a small barbers salon to support his family
