All About the Children!

Our trip to Kenya and Uganda Africa, May 16 - June 14th, was AMAZING! Thanks to everyone who prayed with and for us, for your encouragement, and your giving financially to make this happen. YOU are Wholly Yours Ministries!! Without you, none of this would have been possible.

While there, we were able to accomplish a lot of different things, but working with and helping the children and youth was at the very top of our list of priorities. Children hold a very special place in our hearts. We were so excited to be able to give the soccer team at the local school a new professional soccer ball and cones, to speak to various schools, to complete a jigger removal campaign, distribute shoes to children that didn't have shoes, and to participate in giving out clothes with "And U Clothed Me" ministry in Kampala Uganda (anduclothedme.org). Harry and Brenda McDaniel who run "And U Clothed Me" are our very special friends and they invited us to help give out some children's clothing to a local community. The clothing was made by their organization and making and distributing new clothing to children is part of their wonderful ministry. It was an amazing experience. Stephanie was also blessed to spend a little time sharing with the children at the "House of Winners Worship Center- Ogalo (Mumias Kenya) "

Jesus Himself spent time with the children and is an example to all of us.

The scriptures states in Matthew 19:13-14 (NASB) Then some children were brought to Him so that He would lay hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, "Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them to come to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." After laying His hands on them, He departed from there.
